The Dallas Mavericks season ended on Sunday night, the second straight year the team missed the playoffs. They finished 26-56, and will again have a top 10 pick in the NBA draft. Their top pick from the 2025 draft, No. 1 overall selection Cooper Flagg, finished a brilliant season where he led the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals. The last rookie to lead his team in all four of those categories was Michael Jordan, who turned into a decent player.
Flagg spoke after the season finale on Sunday night, and hopes to be like Mike and win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year.
